Simple 2 Ingredient Fudge – Made In The Slow Cooker
It is time for another slow cooker fudge recipe and this simple 2 ingredient fudge is perfect for that minimal fuss treat when you fancy something sweet.
Using just chocolate and condensed milk, this recipe is so simple, that the kids can even make it themselves if they want to! With life being really busy, sometimes you just want to bake or make something that is quick but also easy, there is no faffing with this recipe. Both ingredients can be kept in the cupboard, so if time is not on your side, they will be kept for another day.
Can you make fudge in the microwave?
Absolutely!
I choose to use a slow cooker as it is just my preferred method, however, if you are short on time then the microwave will be your preferred method. Simply place the ingredients into a large bowl and blast on full power for 30-second intervals for about 2 minutes, stirring in between.
How long can you keep homemade fudge?
Our fudge doesn’t tend to last long but you will find it will keep absolutely fine for up to a week in the fridge, if not a little longer.
It may be a little hard from being in the fridge, so just bring it to room temperature before enjoying as it has a better texture.

How do you store your fudge?
Once your fudge is set and cut, make sure you store it in an airtight container. This can be kept at room temperature or in the fridge for a couple of weeks.
If you are making these as a gift, they can be gifted in cellophane bags and they will keep well as long as they are securely sealed.
What equipment do I need to make slow cooker fudge?
There is no specialist equipment needed to make this easy recipe and it uses things that many of us have already.
- Slow cooker – If you are doing this in the microwave, you just need a large bowl.
- Spatula
- Square tin – Mine is just a supermarket one!
- Wooden spoon
- Parchment paper
- Weighing scales
- Cooling rack
- A sharp knife
Regardless of the flavour of fudge you are making, this is all the equipment you are going to need. Trust me, once you make it the first time, you will be making it again.

Although this is a 2-ingredient fudge recipe, you can tweak it to change the flavour combinations. How about adding some of your favourite flavouring such as vanilla extract or salted caramel extract?
You could top it with some sprinkles or crumbs of your favourite biscuit before popping it in the fridge to cool. The options are really endless!
Tips for making this 2 Ingredient fudge recipe:
Our fudge recipes are so simple, there is not much to them. However, here are some of the top tips we have found out along the way. Trust me, we have made so many fudge recipes, they are that good!
- Always line your baking tin – It makes it so much easier for you to get it out of the tin.
- Give it time – I know you will want to enjoy it pretty much as soon as you have made it but you do need to give it time to set first. It will be worth the wait.
- Experiment – Pick what chocolate you want to use, even go for your favourite brand. Don’t be scared to change the recipe either to suit your preference!
- When storing, use parchment paper – I found layers of parchment between the fudge that stopped it from sticking together. However, if you are storing in the fridge, you do not need to use this.
